Little Trilby is located on the western slopes of the Great Dividing Range, just south west of Mudgee, 650m above sea level.

This place is called Little Trilby because some years ago we took a road trip to Trilby Station in far north-west NSW. The real Trilby is a huge sheep property which we fell in love with so when we bought this place, of course we named it Little Trilby.

Avisford Nature Reserve is adjacent to Little Trilby and the area provides a peaceful haven for wildlife among the vineyards, sheep and cattle farms and busy towns of the Central West.

Little Trilby is proudly off-grid. The cabins are powered by solar and wind and we collect rainwater. Heating, cooking and hot water are gas and the washing machine runs on solar.

Some old photos we found of the two cabins
